Jim is the Director of Enterprise Technology at Illumination Works. In this role, Jim leads the strategy, planning, implementation, and ongoing support of ILW’s IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring our technology capabilities continue to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Jim has developed software solutions to streamline business processes for over 40 years. His professional hands-on experience ranges from assembly language programming through architecture and cloud native Infrastructure-as-Code design and development, in diverse sectors including automotive retail, higher education, wholesale supply, grocery, and military logistics.

Jim typically leverages outside-the-box approaches to navigate technical issues and deliver durable solutions, and he brings that focus and innovation into the evolution of ILW infrastructure.

Outside of work, Jim likes to read, usually science fiction, embark on new adventures with his amazing wife, spend time with his children and grandchildren, and attend to the needs of his furry overlords (2 cats and a dog).
