Jason Fogel is the Director of Defense Growth at Illumination Works, where he connects customer priorities with the company’s data, AI, and software capabilities. He works across ILW’s leadership and technical teams to develop customer relationships, build industry partnerships, and translate growth strategy into solutions that improve government operations and mission performance.

With more than 25 years of defense consulting experience, Jason has helped multiple small and large companies achieve and sustain double-digit growth. His leadership spans business strategy, operations, business development, talent development, and program delivery. He brings deep experience supporting Air Force and defense organizations through enterprise system modernization, financial management, audit readiness, and business transformation. His approach emphasizes understanding customer needs, building complementary teams, and following through on commitments.

Jason began his career as an Air Force officer and retired from the Air Force Reserve as a lieutenant colonel. A U.S. Air Force Academy graduate, he combines a military perspective with practical experience building businesses and delivering complex programs.
