ILW would like to congratulate Dr. Joseph Regensburger on his promotion to Chief Scientist.
As a natural progression to extend our proven capabilities in building big data and advanced analytics platforms, Dr. Regensburger will be leading a team of data scientists to help our clients capitalize on the vast disparate data captured in modern data platforms. In this newly created position, Dr. Regensburger is responsible for shepherding ILW’s research efforts, leading algorithm, machine learning, and analytics capability development, and championing the capabilities being incubated and developed in the ILW Innovation Lab.
Dr. Regensburger has been with Illumination Works since 2014 working research and data science efforts, specializing in data analytics, algorithm development, image exploitation, and text mining. Prior to joining ILW, Dr. Regensburger worked as a Principal Research Scientist at Battelle Memorial Institute and as a Research Scientist at The Ohio State University and The University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Dr. Regensburger received his undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University, with a Masters in Physics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Physics from The Ohio State University.
