Work performed on this Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) vehicle helps accelerate the DoD’s adoption of artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled technologies to transform sustainment, acquisition, operations, and other core functions.
Task Order 2: Legacy Modernization to Reduce Administration & Cost Burden
For this second task order, ILW will modernize the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) legacy Positive Inventory Control (PIC) Fusion application with a native serverless and software as a service (SaaS) platform for data transformations, storage, and processing in Cloud One Azure. This effort aims to reduce the administrative and cost burden of maintaining end-to-end accountability of nuclear-weapons-related material (NWRM) assets. Reshaping the Digital Landscape to Support the Mission
The Department of Defense (DoD) Data Strategy mandates all DoD component services be AI ready by 2025 and AI competitive by 2027. To meet these goals, the Department of Air Force (DAF) must transform the way they collect, process, and exploit data.
