Illumination Works (ILW) is pleased to announce the certification of the ILW Foundation by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
Through the contributions of our awesome employees, we support multiple organizations in our local communities and provide options for our geographically distributed workforce to include financial support, in-kind contributions, and volunteer programs, which also include company contibutions and matching.
As a company, Illumination Works values the importance of supporting the communities where our employees live and work, which is why we created the ILW Cares Program in April 2020. With the establishment of the ILW Foundation as a 501(c)(3), employee contributions to our ILW Cares Program through the foundation are now tax deductible, dating back to January 10, 2022.
The intention of our ILW Cares Program is to give back to the communities that support us through financial support, in-kind contributions, and volunteer programs. Through the contributions of our awesome employees, we have been able to work with and support many organizations in our communities, ranging from food bank donations and back-to-school supplies to supporting families in need during the holiday season.
With the transition to a mostly remote work environment, we have begun providing opportunities for our geographically distributed workforce to support similar charities in their communities and are looking to support campaigns that resonate at the national level in 2023.
