Legacy Modernization to Cloud Native
Customer Challenge
The Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) required legacy modernization of cradle-to-grave accountability of nuclear weapon related material (NWRM) assets across supply, transportation, and maintenance.
Innovative Solution
ILW adopted the Data Analytics as a Service (DAaaS) framework—a standardized approach for data collection, curation, exposure, and analysis—to modernize and enhance existing capabilities using DoD cloud-native services. By integrating flexible, native serverless and Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms for data transformation, storage, and processing, ILW streamlined and standardized analytics, enabling end-to-end visibility and accountability. Additionally, ILW conducted the full risk management framework process for the technologies, which included developing the system security plan, verifying control measures, and maintaining cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
