The Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) required an enterprise Data Integration and Optimization Digital Environment (DIODE) capability for migrating and modernizing numerous IT systems in support of their core sustainment mission.
Innovative Solution
ILW leveraged the Data Analytics as a Service (DAaaS) framework to standardize data flow across AFSC systems and processes, developing an event-driven data curation framework built on reusable microservices. By standardizing data interfaces and utilizing AWS serverless technologies, the framework delivers consistent, scalable, and high-performance processing. This foundation strategically positions AFSC to rapidly onboard new data producers and consumers, while seamlessly scaling microservice and artificial intelligence capabilities across operational workflows.
